History of Performer / Band |
This is a band that covers all the best parts of being an American rock band. The songs are stories. The music is dynamic. Their stage presence is commanding. In short, this is S.R.T.F. and they are American rock music.
Leading the band is singer and songwriter Steve Robinson. He has worked with noted engineer Ed Thacker and world famous producer Rick Rubin while a member of the now disbanded To My Surprise. He decided to choose fresh faces to round out his trio and enlisted the help of Ad C on bass and Chad "Swiggz Swigart on drums.
Radio and television have been delivering over-produced, auto-tuned, pro-tooled “hits” which have failed to provide audiences with anything of true value for a long time. People want timeless songs to touch them. If you want something different and inspired you have found a kindred spirit in Steve Robinson and The Foundation.
Recording and producing the band's albums Steve Robinson takes notes from innovators that inspire him. In the traditions of Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Aimee Mann and Richie Havens, S.R.T.F. live up to being considered the foundation for a person's soundtrack to their life. |
