History of Performer / Band |
Scott Mann is a singer/songwriter from
Fort Worth,TX. He also serves on the board of the Fort
Worth Songwriter's Association. He believes in his heart
that the good order of the universe is on his side.
"The universe looks out for those that LOVE..."
Scott's love for music began when his grandmother taught
him to play the piano by ear between age 10-13. She
could sing and play just by listening and enjoyed teaching
her grandson how to play. She sang and played "The
Old Rugged Cross" like no other person and this
fascinated Scott.
Another important aspect of Scott's life is Aaron Jude,
his three year old son. Aaron spends every Wednesday
night and every other weekend with Scott. The two enjoy
watching videos together, going to McDonald's and Chick
Filet. Aaron is a very busy three year old and keeps
Scott on his toes. Scott often quotes "my son brings
out the child in me". Scott and Aaron also enjoy
playing with their two cats-Leo and Pasha.
Some of Scott's recent performances include: the Grapefest
Wine and Music Festival in Grapevine,TX, the Fort Worth
Fall Arts and Music Festival at Sundance Square, as
well as many club and coffeehouse shows. His music might
be mentioned in the same conversations with the likes
of James Taylor, David Gray, or even Chris Isaac, but
from possibly more of a spiritual perspective. |
