History of Performer / Band |
Originally from the San Francisco bay
area, Scott is an artist whose songs have a rich visual
narrative that intimately evokes people and places.
From songs of the open road to gritty, city portraits
of the homeless and the many private places in between.
Scott has played in bands throughout northern New Mexico
for the past twenty-five years. Since 1996 he has performed
as a solo artist for audiences from Texas to the west
coast, achieveing critical and popular recognition for
his songwriting as well as his personable performance
style.
While Scott's ability as a singer-songwriter has earned
him a great deal of critical attention over the past
several years, there can be no doubt that it is his
penchant for story-telling and easy-going way with audiences
which have won him popularity with the fans of Contemporary
Acoustic music in the southwest.
