History of Performer / Band |
Originally from Dallas, Ramoth-Gilead (the really bad) [pronounced: Ray-Moth (the insect), Gil-Lee-Add (opposite of subtract)] is an East Texas native raised in a small community around his kinfolk. Like most Texans, he is proud of his heritage, and like many southerners he is proud to be country. Ramoth-Gilead was brought up listening to his father's 60s/70s selection of soul music, and his mother's favorite gospel records of the 80s. A lot of these early influences are prevalent in his own music and lyrics. At the moment, Ramoth-Gilead travels and performs independently as a solo artist in and around major cities of the United States. |
