History of Performer / Band |
J.S. Cha formed in the late 2002. Alex Korostinsky formed a band with talented Nick Drozd for bass. James Pevy joined later and then was released from the band for geographical reasons and was soon replaced by another in the summer of 2004. Soon an amazing singer was brought into the band named Nick Weiland. The extremely tight band has gone through its ups and downs with many different members, yet they still have stayed together through the years. Each member of the band brings a special quality of musicianship that is rare among high school teenagers. The band plays frequently at the local Waldens coffeehouse. With the two new members, J.S. Cha will have an ever changing sound that will stay unique to its roots as a band. J.S. Cha has become popular with the folks of Reno and they plan to spread the word of Funk Rock around. When listening to J.S. Cha, you can tell that these guys mean business. |

Alex occasionally performs solo, and along with Nick is part of the surrealist band Portly Gentlemen. |
