Hands down Keller Williams. If you have never heard this guy I suggest that you do so in a timely fashion. Not only is he leading the way of live looping, but his guitar work is beyond phenominal. And he's probably twice the speller I am. Other than this I could go on for days. Every thing is an influence if you can open yourself up to this glorious world we live in. Negotive, positive, it all comes out some how. I spend the better part of my life seeing live music, and the rest of it playing music. Its everything to me, and Im most influenced by others who share the same philosophy. |

Well, what I'm trying to do here is have fun. That's the whole fuel for my music. The way that I see it is, if Im havin' a great time, hopefully you are too. Its the basis of my whole existance, and I try to let it shine thru my music when I perform. I have been playin for a while now and have been a music lover since the day I was born, possibly before. Growing up seeing bands with my folks, its no wonder that Ive ended up here. I've been pulled toward music from an early age, but it wasn't until high school that I really got the push that got me to where I am now. Like most teen agers I was a bit of a lost soul, and my first guitar was that beacon that led me through the dark days. Locked in my room with my buddy and a radio I started learnin my favorites and first tasted the joy of artistic expression. Sure I'd finger painted by then, but through music I really felt a release. Since then I have been drawing on every and any influence that I have come into contact with. Like a junkie I began devouring anthing with a melody. Learning improv from the likes of The Allman Brothers and the Dead. Trying to envoke emotions, ideas, and stories like the Guthries and Dylan. Feeling the power of The Funk through Power of Tower and Parliment. Well you get the idea. So a couple of bad bands later here I am. A one man jam. Havin the time of my live doin what I've always loved most...typeing on this computer. No really, makin' music. And I hope to keep doin' it for a long long long time |
