First started playing guitar in around 1998, but primarily played bass. I started playing and singing a lot more a few years later when asked to lead music for my church and have been playing and writing consistently since then.

I consider myself a God-fearing man, and I'm sure there are those out there who would criticize or condemn me for not writing solely about my beliefs in the man Jesus Christ and the effects those beliefs have had in my life. This is indeed the most important part of my life, but for better or for worse, not the only part. My songs include those about God, girls (or lack thereof), life, hope, hopelessness, frustration... I'm even working on a one that was inspired by a fireplace! I want to be brazenly honest and vulnerable on a level that others can relate with, whatever the subject be.
