Becky Beistline (pronounced "Bystlyne") has been singing, playing the guitar, and writing her own songs for quite some time. After independently releasing the solo album Proof in 2000, she gained a lot of success in her hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska.

In the beginning of 2007, she decided to put together a project with bassist Tom Tyler, percussionist Jeff Nicholson, guitarist Jess Devuono, and saxophonist Dave Lewis in the hopes of establishing some eclectic folk/rock music in the biggest little city in the world, Reno, Nevada.

As their infectious sound is played out more and heard by more people, the Becky Beistline Band will soon be a raging success in little Reno and onward to the rest of the West Coast.
