History of Performer / Band |
Singer/songwriter April Meservy has had the opportunity to share her voice in numerous places, including an invitation to showcase at the Reno Hilton and later to participate in performances at Olympic Square during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
She teams up with guitarist, Mark Miller, and other musicians for shows when in her hometown of Reno. Diverse in style, her vocals can be heard on recordings ranging from jazz/blues to pop/rock, from contemporary gospel to classical. She was honored with Pearl Awards for “Studio Vocalist of the Year” in 2004 and 2005 as well as “Best Contemporary Recording” in 2005. In 2000, she recorded a mini-album of originals, Somewhere Between Sunsets.
April is working at present on Harvest of Change, a debut album inspired by the path her life has taken – in some ways unexpected.
